Experience Jaipur’s traditional Blue Pottery craft through a hands-on workshop where you paint, create, and learn inside a working artisan studio.
Jaipur Blue Pottery is one of Rajasthan’s most recognized art forms, known for its vibrant blue colours, hand-painted floral patterns, and unique quartz-based pottery technique.
This experience takes you inside a working Blue Pottery studio in Jaipur, where you’ll learn how the craft is made, understand its history, and spend time with artisans who continue to practice it today.
The session begins with an introduction to the story of Jaipur Blue Pottery, from its Persian influences to its place in Jaipur’s artisan culture today. You’ll then explore the different stages involved in the process, including preparing the dough, shaping the pottery, painting traditional motifs, and glazing the final pieces.
The experience becomes hands-on as you try working with the traditional quartz-based dough and paint your own Blue Pottery plate using classic Jaipur-inspired designs and colours.
Slow-paced and interactive, this workshop offers a more personal way to experience Jaipur’s craft traditions beyond markets and souvenir shopping.
Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the Blue Pottery workshop.
Cancellations made between 72 and 48 hours before the experience may incur partial retention charges due to studio scheduling, material preparation, and workshop arrangements.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable.
In the event of artisan unavailability, studio closure, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered an alternate workshop slot or a full refund.
